Let me introduce myself a little first: my name is Sinem Sahin. I was born to Turkish parents on Christmas eve in 1990 and I was raised in the Netherlands.

 

I quit my job as an English teacher in order to explore the world, and so I traveled the globe for 13 months in 2022. Ever since, I have worked as a freelancer to travel a bit more. I've become addicted to the outdoors, especially the mountains, finding hidden gems, discovering countries I know little about, and getting to know its culture and history.

 

This inspired me to share my experiences with adventurous people, starting with Central Asia. Maybe it’s because of its untouched nature, the ambiance, the food, or perhaps because my ancestors were born there. Whatever the reason, in my opinion, it’s a must-visit for those who love to discover the unbeaten path.
